The impacts of childhood trauma and complex PTSD can echo throughout your life, affecting your relationships, your sense of self, and your ability to feel safe in the present. You might feel stuck in patterns you can't understand, or feel overwhelmed by emotions that seem to come from nowhere. While I specialise in these deep-seated wounds, I also provide supportive counselling for a wide range of general concerns, including anxiety, stress, and life transitions. Healing is not only possible—it is your birthright. My approach provides a deeply supportive, confidential, and non-judgmental space to gently unpack your burdens. Here, we will work together to process experiences, calm your nervous system, and build a future defined not by your past, but by your strength and resilience.

My practice is built on the foundational understanding that our early experiences shape how we see ourselves, others, and the world. I specialise in supporting individuals who have experienced childhood trauma and complex PTSD, and I am deeply passionate about helping clients find freedom from these patterns.
My approach is integrative and tailored to your unique journey, drawing on powerful, evidence-informed modalities:
Inner Child Healing: We will compassionately connect with the younger parts of yourself that hold past pain and unmet needs. This process helps to reparent the inner child, release old wounds, and build self-compassion, allowing your authentic adult self to lead.
Attachment Theory & Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): Our work explores how your early attachment style influences your adult relationships and emotional world. Using EFT principles, we'll map out and transform the negative cycles that keep you feeling stuck, lonely, or insecure, helping you foster more secure, fulfilling connections with yourself and others.
Somatic and Trauma-Informed Practices: Recognizing that trauma is held in the body, our work will include gentle techniques to help you regulate your nervous system, increase body awareness, and release stored stress, fostering a greater sense of safety and embodiment.
Therapy is a journey back to your true self. I am committed to moving at your pace, ensuring you feel grounded and in control every step of the way. My goal is to empower you to rewrite your story from a place of agency and hope.

What to expect.
Firstly book a free 15min chat to see if we gel and whats going on for you.
Then we talk about what problems you are facing and what about them you would like to change and what successful change would look like.
Then we come up with a plan of what you feel is the most pressing issue.
We look for things that you have used in the past that helped and come up with new ideas
We check in weekly/fortnightly/monthly to chat about whats come up and how things are progressing.
Once you are where you need to be we finish up.
Depending on whats going on for you will determine how long this process takes.
